Fixed Income Settlements Analyst

Description
A highly motivated Fixed Income Settlements analyst is sought by a successful world leading Bank. The successful candidate will need to add value to the team by bringing their knowledge and expertise of the Fixed Income market.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

Checking and releasing all SWIFT automated payments (MT202s and 210s) from Midas.
Marking back the swift acknowledgement against the events by nostro.
Ensuring all payments are sent and no duplicates have occurred.
Effecting same day and next day payments.
Keeping real time nostro positions and agreeing intra day with dealers.
Being the focal point for nostro positions for all departments within the Bank to ensure optimal funding at all times, and resolving general queries.
Monitoring the CLS GUI, initialising investigation ad CLS currency reporting positions
Day to Day management of Euroclear, Crest and International Settlements

The successful candidate will have
strong analytical skills.
Excel and Power Point skills.
Some negotiation, influencing and Project Management Skills
